Many people lack confidence in their handwriting and unconsciously avoid the act of writing.
This project focuses on a subtle psychological barrier embedded in everyday life.

建材として、建築の大きなスケールで使われてきたSOLIDO。
その素材が持つ文脈を生かし、手のひらサイズのプロダクトへと落とし込んだデスクトップオーガナイザーである。
内部の仕切りは、どこか見覚えのある建築の「間取り」を思わせる構成とし、収納という機能の中に建築的な秩序を取り入れた。
異なるサイズを組み合わせることで、卓上に小さな建築をつくるような遊び心を持たせた。

This project focuses on a subtle psychological barrier embedded in everyday life.
By tilting the horizontal grid lines by 6 degrees, the design naturally guides the hand into a gentle upward stroke,
subtly refining the overall presence of each character without conscious effort.
In a digital age where writing by hand is no longer a necessity,
the design lowers the emotional barrier to handwriting and proposes an experience that allows anyone to rediscover the enjoyment of writing.
