ごはんのしるしは、おかずの定位置を「凹み」として可視化する、新しいしゃもじの提案です。
盛り付けたごはんの中央に、自然とおかずを置きたくなる。
そんな日本人の無意識の振る舞いに着目しました。
しゃもじが残すわずかな凹みは、「今日は何をのせようか？」という想像を促し、いつもの食卓にささやかな楽しさを生み出します。

日常の食事風景をほんの少しだけ描き変え、豊かにする。
そんな「しるし」としての道具のあり方を目指しました。
This project proposes a new type of rice scoop that visualizes the placement of side dishes through a subtle indentation.
It focuses on a familiar, often unconscious Japanese habit— the tendency to place a side dish at the center of a serving of rice.
The slight indentation left by the scoop gently invites imagination: “What should I place here today?”, adding a small sense of delight to the everyday dining experience.
Rather than introducing excessive functionality, the design aims to subtly redraw and enrich the scenery of daily meals, exploring the idea of a tool as a quiet “mark” within everyday life.
