Nasta Interphone 2は、住設機器でありながら建築の一部として成立することを目指してデザインを行なったインターホンです。
設置環境・視認性・操作性という、3つの要件を起点に、要素を細かく分解・再構築し、
装飾や過剰な情報を削ぎ落としたミニマルなデザインに昇華したことで、極めて静かな佇まいを実現しました。
面の構成やプロポーションは、周囲の建築や外構と干渉しないことを前提に設計され、意識されることなく空間に溶け込む佇まいを実現しています。
日常の動作を妨げず、使うたびに違和感を残さない。その積み重ねが、住設機器におけるミニマルデザインの一つの到達点を示しています。
Nasta Interphone 2 is an intercom designed with the aim of functioning not merely as a residential device, but as an integral part of the architecture itself.
Starting from three key requirements—installation environment, visibility, and operability—the design elements were carefully deconstructed and reassembled.
By eliminating ornamentation and excessive information, the design was refined into a minimal expression, resulting in an exceptionally quiet presence.
The surface composition and proportions were conceived on the premise of not interfering with the surrounding architecture or exterior elements, allowing the intercom to blend seamlessly into its environment without drawing attention.
It neither disrupts everyday actions nor leaves a sense of discomfort with each use. This accumulation of subtle, unobtrusive experiences represents one point of arrival for minimal design in residential equipment.
